Company ProfileLookout Valley Tool & Machine was formed in 1975 as a venture between Jerry Walls and Earl Montieth to provide quality tool, die, and machine shop services to Southeastern Tennessee. Since its inception the company has grown to include over 28,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing facilities and 40 employees in three separate buildings on a centralized campus in the beautiful Lookout Valley outside of Chattanooga, TN. The managed growth has allowed LVTM to effectively control its overhead and operating costs while providing an excellent product value to customers. A Brief Timeline 1975 - Jerry Walls and Earl Montieth rent a small space in a warehouse in the Lookout Valley to manufacture tooling for Rapro, Inc. 1978 - The business expands to 4 customers, and LVTM purchases the the warehouse they originally rented. 1983 - As the demand for machining grows, LVTM purchases its first CNC Machining Center. 1984 - LVTM outgrows the current space and expands into a second adjacent building. 1989 - Stamping division established to complement the Tool and Die business. 2005 - Celebrates 30 Years in Business!
