LVTM Implements OTIS - Lookout Valley Tool & Machine has implemented the first phase of a Windows based order entry and inventory tracking system.  This program was custom written for LVTM by a Washington, DC based consultant with expertise in the metals industry.  While most businesses of LVTM's size adapt their business systems and practices to "off the shelf packages", this program is unique in that it  was developed around the current "best business practices" of LVTM.  The program, once fully implemented will allow for "real-time" costing, ISO/QS traceability of raw material to parts, and more effective management of inventory.
